How to Reset a Password

Purpose

This guide assists users in resetting their passwords for the iTOTEM Trust System. If you have forgotten your password or need to update it for security reasons, follow the steps below to regain access to your account.

Step-by-Step Guide
  1. Go to the Login Page - Login | Trust

  2. Click on "Forgot Password?"

    • Below the login fields, you will see a “Forgot Password?” link. Click on it.

  1. Enter Your Email

    On the password recovery page, enter the email address associated with your iTOTEM Trust System account.




  1. Check Your Email

You will receive an email with a password reset link. If you do not see the email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder.

  1. Click on the Reset Link

    Open the email and click on the provided password reset link.


  2. Create a New Password

    • Enter a new password that meets the security requirements (e.g., at least 8 characters, a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters).

    • Confirm the new password and submit.


  3. Log in with Your New Password

    • Once your password has been successfully reset, return to the login page and sign in with your new credentials.

1. I didn’t receive the password reset email. What should I do?

  • Check your spam/junk folder.

  • Ensure you entered the correct email address.

  • If the issue persists, contact iTOTEM Support at crystal@itotem.io.


2. What if I don’t remember the email associated with my account?

  • Try checking past emails from iTOTEM to identify the correct email.

  • If you’re unable to find it, reach out to iTOTEM Support for assistance.


3. How often should I update my password?

  • It’s recommended to update your password every 3-6 months for security purposes.


4. Can I use the same password as before?

  • For security reasons, it is best to create a unique password that has not been used previously.


5. What should I do if my account is locked after too many failed login attempts?

  • If your account is temporarily locked, wait 15 minutes before trying again.

  • If you need immediate access, contact iTOTEM Support for assistance.
